This May marked an important milestone not only for Croatian tourism but also for our team at Taste Dalmatia DMC. As the Headline Partner of Private Luxury Split 2026, we were honoured to help bring one of the world's leading luxury travel B2B events to Split, Croatia, for the very first time.
Held from 10–13 May at Le Méridien Lav Split, the event welcomed 280 leading luxury travel professionals from across the globe, including top-producing travel advisors, luxury tour operators, DMCs, hospitality brands and tourism investors. Over the course of the event, participants engaged in more than 6,500 pre-scheduled business meetings, creating valuable opportunities for future partnerships and growth.
For an independent, locally owned boutique DMC, contributing to an event of this scale represents an important achievement and a reflection of dedication and trust placed in our team, our destination and our vision. Hosting Private Luxury in Croatia for the first time demonstrates the growing recognition of our country as a premium travel destination and the increasing demand for authentic, high-end experiences in the Adriatic region.
Together with Private Luxury Events and with the support of the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Split Tourist Board and the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, we had the opportunity to showcase not only our destination, but also the expertise, creativity and hospitality that define our approach to luxury travel.
Beyond the meeting rooms, our team curated a range of exclusive destination experiences, allowing international buyers to discover the authentic character, culture, gastronomy and natural beauty of Dalmatia. Selected guests also participated in dedicated FAM trips before and after the event, providing deeper insight into the experiences available to discerning travellers visiting Croatia.
Many international buyers visited Croatia and Split for the first time during the event, and their exceptionally positive feedback confirmed what we have always believed: Croatia has earned its place among Europe's most exciting luxury travel destinations.
